When I needed

Nay, you lied for me,

An unpardonable sin,

Which you turned into a psalm.

      It’s about two people in love. She was hurt and feeling low about something. He tells a lie to protect her from further harm. In doing so, he turns a lie, which is a sin, into a psalm, which is a holy song – because it was done for a good cause.
