October begins with a nip in the air
And ends with the shedding of all things you thought you couldnβt go on without
October begins with spooky thoughts
And lasts long enough for them to be converted to treats
October begins like a tricky customer
And ends with enveloping you in a cocoon of warmth
October begins with making you want to wander and explore the myriad hues of nature readying itself to rise again like the proverbial phoenix
And
It ends with reminding you that true beauty lies on the inside
October means skidding off my scooter on piles of wet leaves π
and going round corners at half-throttle instead of full βΉοΈ.
