The brightest thing I read today
Was a friend’s attempt at poetry
She called it trash and crumpled it up
I salvaged it and pinned it up instead
Because the widest smile I felt today
Was when she walked into my room and saw what I had done

Plot twist: this was the poem that she wrote 🤣. That would be ultra-meta and awesome :D. It would mess with my mind haha.

One persons trash is another persons treasure. The beautiful thing about poetry is that you never know who might be inspired by it. Motivation to never give up and keep writing! Great post!
